Solar Water Pumping Projects

Qujing is a remote city in Yunnan, because of the continuous draught for years, the water supply for daily use is very difficult, so in order to solve the problem, Solartech’s solar pumping system is introduced into the area.

Naqu is in Tibet Autonomous Region, China. The average altitude is above 4450m. Naqu has extensive grasslands, and it is a purely pasture region.

Nagqu is located at Tibet Autonomous Region with average altitude of 4450 meters, where there is rich of abroad prairie and abundant solar energy.

The project is funded both by China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research(IWRH) and Qinghai Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, based on a new way of combining ecological construction and new energy utilization for grassland irrigation to improve herdsmen’s living level.

When the light can not meet the requirements of water pumping, it will automatically switch to the city water pumping to ensure the reliability of the water supply.
