Solar Water Pumping Projects

The relevant person in charge of Xinhua Village use Solartech PSA7500 solar water pump system meet the water supply demands of flue-cured tobacco, rice, and other crops&living water of the whole village.

Over 70 percent of Botswana’s population lives in rural areas and earns a living from agriculture. Because of the dry climate, livestock production dominates agricultural activities.

Irrigation is key to achieving increased agricultural production that is important for economic development and for attaining food security.

Solartech solar pumping inverter was installed in this project, working with solar array and pump,provides sufficient drinking water for the local herdsman and their livestock in the desert.

In order to let the grass in the sample grassland have same growth speed, we did a test in the irrigation area and comparison area from 26th June to 16th Sep in 2011
