Solar Water Pumping Projects

In February 2024, solar centralized water supply system project was installed and officially put into operation in a rural community in the suburbs of Wa, Upper West Region.

In January 2024, solar domestic water supply project organized and implemented NGOs, such as GEF and PROAGRO and supported by the UNDP, completed project acceptance and began operation in a village near El Carmen City in the eastern part of Santa Cruz Province.

Solartech worked together with Chilean partner to design and provide equipment for the farmer's 80HP electic motor pump. The project selects Solartech PK-CA Solar Pumping Control Box. During the day, solar power generation can be used to drive the water pump to pump water from the deep well to the reservoir.

The project uses Solartech PB-G3 series 5.5kW solar borehole pump system, with a total water head of about 140 meters. Under solar power supply condition, the average daily water flow exceeds 50 cubic meters. In order to cope with the peak water usage in the morning and afertnoon in future, the system can be backuped fuel generators to meet more water demands.

In November 2023, Solartech solar water pump system was successfully installed in a village in San Miguel. This project uses Solartech's latest fourth-generation PB-G4 series 3kW AC solar water pumping system.
