Project Location:
Brașov County, Romania
Project Introduction:
In Brașov County, Romania, a blueberry farm used to rely on diesel-powered pumps for irrigation. To cut costs and go green, the owner switched to solar power with Solartech's hybrid solution.
Solution:
In November 2024, Solartech's local partner provided a hybrid solar-diesel power solution, utilizing the Solartech PB1500H-G4 inverter, which perfectly matched the existing three-phase pumps. After the first system demonstrated stable performance, the customer added a second system in March 2025. Both inverters are now operating smoothly, delivering an average daily water storage of 30m³, significantly reducing diesel consumption and improving irrigation efficiency.
Social Benefits:
Cost Savings: Drastically reduces diesel expenses, lowering farm operating costs. Environmental Protection: Cuts carbon emissions, promoting sustainable agriculture. Scalability: The success of this project has attracted interest from neighboring farmers, accelerating the adoption of renewable energy in agricultural irrigation.
