Project Location:
Lagos, Nigeria
Project Introduction:
March 2026 · Lagos, Nigeria — In this West African commercial hub—plagued by an unstable power grid and expensive diesel fuel—how can sunlight be harnessed to solve critical water supply challenges? Solartech has provided a brilliant solution! Recently, a solar water supply system—custom-built by Solartech for a church in Lagos—was officially commissioned. The project utilizes two sets Solartech PB-G3 series 7.5kW solar pumping systems.
Solution:
✅ Deep-well extraction (from 120 meters) + ground-level pressure boosting, delivering water directly to every tap within the church premises.
✅ Grid-Complementary & Solar-Priority Operation: On sunny days, the system runs entirely on solar power, driving electricity costs down to nearly zero; on cloudy or rainy days, it automatically switches to utility power, ensuring an uninterrupted water supply.
✅ Remote Monitoring: Real-time access to water levels, flow rates, and equipment status—keeping you fully informed at a glance.
Social Benefits:
Leveraging Lagos' abundant tropical savanna sunshine, this system employs a strategy of "water storage replacing electricity storage," ensuring that daytime water consumption incurs absolutely no electricity costs!
