Cyprus, an island country located in the Mediterranean, is a world-renowned tourist destination and top resort paradise. Here, there are about 300 sunny days every year, so not only in hotels, but most Cypriot families have built outdoor swimming pools.

In September 2023, Solartech 2.2kW solar swimming pool filtration pump system project was successfully installed in the Akoursos, Paphos district of Cyprus. The filtration pump is mainly powered by solar system and use a Solartech PB-G3 Smart Pro solar pumping inverter to drive the filter pump motor, without the need for energy storage batteries. It can automatically switch to the grid power when there is insufficient sunshine or at night.

Swimming pool filtration pumps usually only work during the day, and the good sunny weather in Cyprus allows solar power generation to meet their power supply requirements. Long term operation can save operators or users a significant portion of their electricity bills.
